9 more days till my wedding date. It's all pretty surreal but I feel like the day couldn't come any sooner. All the planning for the wedding is pretty much done. The last thing we need to do is order our cake, but we are going to do that the day we arrive in Lake Tahoe. For some of you that may not know this, South Lake Tahoe is where Eric and I will be getting married. We decided to get married here because at least it's still in the state of California and we wanted to get married outdoors especially by the water. We were initially wanting to get married on a beach but the place where we're getting married just seemed like a perfect setting for us. Emerald Bay is the exact spot we're getting married. It overlooks the lake with the mountains in the backdrop.
The more and more I think of how our wedding is going to take place, I realize its the wedding I've always wanted. Only our immediate families will be there. I just love the intimacy of the ceremony and having my future brother in law sing in the ceremony gives it a special touch. We've also made sure that the girls had a big role in the wedding as well. This is their wedding as it is mine. I think their dresses are even fancier than my dress! But that's ok, I know Selena is excited too...she's finally getting the 'family' she's always wanted. Now Selena and I can both exhale...
