It's exciting to see one of my daughters like sports as much as I do. It's even more exciting to see them participating in their school teams as I did growing up. With volleyball being my #1 favourite sport to play growing up, it's more rewarding to see Selena take up the sport as well. The other day, I went to her school to watch her first game of the year, and to my delight and tears in my eyes, I noticed she was wearing the same # jersey (#20) I had when I was playing in elementary school and in highschool. After her game, I asked her how she ended up with the #20 jersey. She told me, there were only a couple of jerseys that were her size and she decided to take 20 not even knowing that was my # in school. I guess it was meant to be. It was destiny.
