As low key as my birthday was, it was rather an eventful couple of days celebrating with some of my favourite people. On my actual birthday, I cooked lunch (oh yes I did) for my girlfriends and in return they gave me a yummy tiramisu cake. In the evening, the Taguibao's and the girls and I trekked all the way downtown to eat at one of our favourite joints, Wah Sing. Soft shell crab fried rice and lobster, yum! On the weekend, we watched the All Star festivities with the Austria girls, the lil man and also with Dee and Sheryl. They brought the most delicious cake from Dufflet called Toasted Almond Meringue. It might be one of the best cakes I've ever tasted. Good eats + good company = great birthday.
