Our first and last school trip

I was lucky enough to be chosen to attend Rayanne's last school trip at Safety Village. I was excited to go because I knew this would be Rayanne's last school trip with St. Julia. But I didn't know that the trip would be even more special when I found out that my BFF would be going on this same trip with her daughter! Rayanne's class would be doing traffic safety while Lianne's class would be doing fire safety. I think the BFF and I enjoyed the school bus ride together more than the kids did even though our bus driver looked like it was his first time driving a bus. We looked like little school girls, giggling and peering into the seat infront of us. This was by far one of the simplest but most enjoyable school trips I've been on. The safety village has it's own little town with working traffic lights and the kids that were learning about traffic safety were able to drive little motorized cars and drive through town obeying the traffic lights and signs. The trip didn't take up most of the afternoon so the BFF and I even managed to go out and still have a mini lunch date. We're definitely getting spoiled on our quality time together...but I don't think either one of us is complaining!
