It was No Doubt, a great weekend

Since last Wednesday, the girls and I have had a great girls only week. We headed out to Sacramento for our first road trip without Dad. We avoided rush hour traffic and made it safely to my cousin Marissa's house. After settling in, we headed to the famous Squeeze Inn for their famous burgers with cheese. The next two days was home away from home. The girls enjoyed some time in the hot tub and we just relaxed watching SYTYCD and looking at old photo albums. For the next 2 nights, Marissa, Selena and I didn't go to bed till 3am. On Friday afternoon, all of us including Maris, headed back to the bay area. Marissa and I were getting ready for another girl weekend. Our girlfriend Michelle came up from Ventura and we continued tradition and attended another No Doubt concert. After picking her up early Saturday morning, we headed to Walnut Creek for coffee and then to a Beerfest for some free yummy lunch food courtesy of Mish's husband's cousin. In the evening we finally headed to the concert w/ my favorite chicharones burritos in tow. $10 shots and $9 beers later, the girls and I definitely had a blast at the concert. The concert still doesn't beat watching them close out their last tour in their hometown of Anaheim but nonetheless, the concert still rocked. After waiting for the cars to file out, we finally made it home but not without another 3:30am sleep time.

If there is one thing I know for sure about hanging out with these girls, we don't have to do a damn thing to have a great time and enjoy each other's company. Quality time and great conversation is all we need. Thanks Mris and Mish for a wonderful weekend.
