My heart is palpitating...New Kids on the Block are getting back together and they are announcing their reunion on the Today show this Friday! I honestly didn't think this would get me as excited as I did. It's been like 20 years since I was a hardcore fan. These guys were the original 'boy band' of the 80's. As soon as 'Please Don't Go Girl' was released, I was hooked. I had the posters, the buttons and the VCR tapes. I would even make my guy cousin watch the videos with me. (You know who you are....) By the time their Step by Step album came out, I was still a fan but since I was getting older, I was also starting to lose interest but my sister and her friends became the new hardcore fans. I remember that they even went to their concerts with all of their moms! Well, I look forward to seeing them on the Today show this Friday and I'm curious what their sound will be like after all these years. (ok, and check out their first photo they released in 15 years. Is it just me or are they all looking mighty fine...even Danny! lol)
