I went to Markville Mall today to check out the new Banana Republic store. I've been really looking forward to the store opening. Upon entering the store, I was surprised that the store was really small but the it still looked great and all the fall/winter clothing got me excited...until I saw the prices! Since it's a new store, nothing was on sale. Even though I came out of there empty handed, I remembered my shopping spree at the Banana Republic outlet store in Vacaville,CA. Spending $200 there for almost 10 pieces of clothing I realized that is one of the things that I'm really looking forward to when I live in California, Banana Republic Outlet stores! Spending $200 at a regular store will probably get you a pair of pants and a shirt, if that. But until then, I'll keep 'window shopping' at Banana, and anticipate the 'shopping sprees' at the outlet malls in the great U.S. of A.
