Dad's lucky day

This past week, my husband was also in town to celebrate Selena's birthday. Boy was he in for a surprise the weekend he was leaving. On Saturday, we had our biggest snowfall yet. Just when we all thought it couldn't snow anymore, it dumped close to 30-40cms of snow in the GTA. Luckily for my dad, Eric's flight didn't leave until late Sunday evening (his flight left without any delays) and he got some much needed help with shovelling our driveway. It took them more than 2 hours to get the job done and half of the driveway had already been shovelled! My dad woke up at 4am to shovel just so he can take my mom to the GO station because she had work. Unfortunately, they couldn't even make it out of our street because the street hadn't been plowed! But my mom, the workaholic, decided to just trek through the snow and make her way to the station. What a trooper! Here are some pictures of the men at work.
