My niece and nephew

This past week and a half, I've been really enjoying spending time with Hannah and Benjoe. Not that I don't like spending time with them, but when you live in the same house as your niece and nephew it's really hard to enjoy and spoil them when you are busy disciplining them along with your own children. I have to say, I'm proud that I have been the one to teach Benjoe "I love you...Auntie Rennie!" It really is cute that he can also say my name. Since spending time with them, it's made me realize how much I'm really going to miss them. It's going to be hard not to see Benjoe on his first day of school or be fully potty trained. I'm getting even teary eyed thinking about Hannah as she grows older and not having her Ate around to confide in about the boys she likes in school or the friends she likes and dislikes. I know it's pretty guaranteed that our kids will get to see each other at least once a year but it will be hard knowing that our kids will not be growing up together anymore. Shoot...who else are they gonna fight with? I love Hannah and Benjoe as if they were my own kids....ok, I dont' think I can write anymore as the tears are starting to flow down my face but I will say that I will actually miss the noise, the running around and even the fighting with those 4 kids together.
