That would be us, the Flores-Bautista family. Today we headed to the Markham Ribfest. We arrived there an hour and a half before the fair was going to close. The lineups to get ribs were insane. The lineups are generally long to get ribs at the fair but when you're pregnant and you just had your wisdom teeth taken out, who's gonna want to line up and wait for ribs? I can't even bite and eat the ribs! Luckily for me, the girls were happy to just get slushees, lemonade and corn on the cob, and my husband surprisingly wasn't hungry enough to get ribs and to wait in line. I settled on eating a popsicle and french fries drenched in gravy because it was the only items I was able to eat. Maybe we'll attempt to attend the Scarborough Ribfest in August and actually eat some ribs!
Can you tell by the look on my face I wasn't happy to be there! Shoot, wouldn't you look like this too if you just had your teeth pulled out and you can't eat ribs at a ribfest?
