Last night I was flipping channels and I came across the
Canadian edition of So You Think You Can Dance Canada. As a big fan of the American version, I was excited to watch the Canadian version. However, the first couple of episodes of the tryouts really lost me and I would only watch it if there was nothing else to watch on TV. But last night I caught the last dance of the night that really intrigued me. Dancers Lisa and Vincent had picked 'House' ! I couldn't believe it. Only here in Canada where House is considered a dance. The dance is choreographed by
Sho Tyme best known for his work with Gwen
Stefani and her
Harajuku Girls. For all you '
housers' out there we know that house dancing is mainly about footwork so I was really curious how they were going to do this. Well as a lover of dancing and listening to house music, I was sold. The dance was so tight and clean. All 4 judges agreed too, one even saying it was the best dance of the night. The dance really depicted on what house dancing is but on a 'higher scale'. Here is a
clip of the performance.
