Gallbladder Free

After waiting 11 months to have my gallbladder out, I finally had surgery to have it removed last Friday. My surgeons said it was one of the more difficult gallbladder removals they had to do because my gallbladder was so inflammed. It was so bad that it was actually sticking to my liver! But after all the complications, all the attacks, all the ERCP'S ( I actually had another one right after my surgery to remove the last remaining 7 stones left in my bile duct) and all the pain I had to endure, I am finally free! Well, I'm not completely free until next week because I still have a tube attached to my stomach that is draining any more bile that might be left. It's been a pain in my side (no pun intended..) since I really can't do much especially carrying my baby. Luckily Eric has been here to help with Emma while I recover. I'm looking forward to next week so I can start feeling 'normal' again. Now if we can only get our visas together, we will soon be on our way to California.

Wowzers, how did that go? It's a good thing you waited to move because I couldn't imagine having to deal with a surgery like that without any help. GO TEAM EB!

Happy Belated Turkey-Day! Let's try to hook-up when you're better!
